Hormonal changes in midlife can have a profound impact on metabolism, digestion, bone health, cardiovascular function, and overall well-being. And these changes can begin in our late 30s! Many women struggle with unexplained weight gain, energy fluctuations, gut issues, and shifts in body composition that traditional nutrition advice fails to address. Without the right support, these changes can lead to muscle loss, increased inflammation, and long-term health risks.
Lauren Benser, MS, RD, LD, specializes in nutrition for perimenopause and menopause, bringing years of expertise in women’s health, gut health, and metabolic optimization. Through her Women’s Health Nutrition Program, she provides a structured, science-backed approach to help women navigate the unique challenges of this life stage with confidence.
This six-week small-group program is designed to give women the tools they need to feel strong, energized, and in control of their health. Each week, participants focus on key areas essential for midlife well-being, including:
Metabolic health and insulin resistance – stabilizing blood sugar and supporting a healthy body composition.
Bone health and muscle preservation – optimizing calcium, protein, and strength-building strategies.
Gut health and digestion – reducing bloating, supporting microbiome balance, and improving nutrient absorption.
Heart health and inflammation – understanding cholesterol, blood pressure shifts, and anti-inflammatory nutrition.
Brain health and mood – managing stress, sleep, and cognitive function through targeted dietary approaches.
With a combination of live expert-led sessions, structured nutrition guidance, and group accountability, this program empowers women to make informed, lasting changes. Each session provides practical strategies, meal planning support, and realistic habit shifts to help women feel their best—without restrictive diets or fads.
The Women’s Health Nutrition Program offers a comprehensive, evidence-based framework to help women take control of their health and thrive through midlife and beyond.
